Absolute Love for every detail
I have been involved in the auction and antiques industry for over 30 years. In the beginning I was buying to furnish a turn-of-the-century Mediterranean style home which I purchased on the North Shore of Boston. Built in 1902 by a prominent Boston Brahmin family the home served as a summer residence for the Rodolph Agassiz family. I spent many weekdays and weekends combing through the Antiques and Arts Weekly to find wonderful pieces at auction.
My passion for collecting turned into a business as I later collected for resale or to decorate a client’s home. For the past 10 years I have been completely immersed in the antique and fine art industry on a daily basis as Director of Marketing for Kaminski Auctions, now in its thirtieth year of business.
A Place to Learn
I write a blog titled DÉCOR-“Decorating With Antiques” with antique tips, updates on collections, and news from Homewood House. I'd an all-inclusive blog that gives a comprehensive depiction of the antique scene today.
